Yoga and Essential Oils
Many yoga enthusiasts who use essential oils find that the fragrances of pure oils stimulate nerves in the nose. In turn, these impulses stimulate the limbic system, where memories, instincts, and vital functions are controlled and processed. Main body functions such as digestion, respiration, cardiovascular activity and stress levels can be brought into balance.
By using essential oils with your yoga practice, you may experience:
- Less muscle and joint tension
- Increased stamina
- Strengthened body-mind connection
- Deepened mental and emotional grounding
- Refined focus and mental clarity
Apply to feet bottoms, brain stem, chakras, crown or temples and inhale; or wherever you’re drawn to apply.
